A shell with rounded lines
Fibreglass, with arched front and rear faces: smooth, quick to clean, and quickly repaired if it gets scuffed.
An arched window
At the front, a 72 × 72 cm window with a rounded top; at the rear, an arched door; on the side, the hatch lifts over the serving window.
Pink and beige
Five colours on every layout: black, white, red, pink and beige. The shell is tinted to order, and the colour does not change the price.
Your own wrap
For a retro design, your graphic designer creates the wrap; printing and fitting are done by the installer of your choice.

The retro silhouette is the same across the range, in AIR 220 and BOLD 270: only the layout inside changes, to suit your menu.

Food Truck Store sells new trailers only. A genuine old trailer has its charm: check these four points before you buy one.
The papers
Without its registration papers, a trailer cannot go on the road or be insured. Ask for them before you visit.
The approval
A trailer converted at home, or imported without approval, is not approved for what it has become.
The gas
No cooking on gas until a qualified professional in your country has inspected the installation.
The shell and the chassis
Leaks around the openings, the floor, rust, wheel bearings, tyres, brakes: look underneath, not just inside.

A three-door glass bottle fridge, and room for your coffee machine or beer tap.

In the European Union
What applies to your concept.
EU rules that apply to your concept in every member state, each with its official source, checked on 6 October 2026. Your country adds its own: check them with your local food safety authority before you start.
Hygiene on board
For mobile sales vehicles, EU hygiene law asks for facilities to wash and dry hands hygienically, food-contact surfaces that are easy to clean and disinfect, and enough hot and/or cold drinking water. At Food Truck Store: double sink as standard, hand-wash basin with hot water as an option.
Certificate of Conformity
A trailer delivered with a European Certificate of Conformity can be registered in any EU country. The formalities, plates and roadworthiness tests depend on your country.
Registration
Before you start trading, you notify the competent authority of your country, which registers your food business. How and where is set by each country: ask your local food safety authority.
Why a trailer.
A car licence is enough
The AIR 220 format has a gross weight of 750 kg: you tow it behind your car on a category B licence, as long as your car is rated to tow it.

In the European Union (Directive 2006/126/EC), a category B car licence covers the AIR 220, an unbraked trailer of up to 750 kg gross weight. The braked BOLD 270 comes in two gross weights: 1,000 kg stays within category B as long as the gross weights of your car and the trailer add up to 3,500 kg at most, which is the case with most cars; 1,500 kg calls, depending on your car, for the B96 code (combinations up to 4,250 kg, after training or a test) or a BE licence.
