Concept · Asian food

An Asian food truck made for wok cooking.

The wok sizzles under the hood, vegetables and sauces are kept chilled and the rice stays hot: from pad thai to fried rice, everything is within reach.

Chef+ food truck trailer in pink, AIR 220 format

Fitted out for wok cooking.

  • The wok under the hood

Your wok burners sit on the lowered cooking area, directly under the extraction: 126 × 60 cm in the AIR 220, 180 × 60 cm in the BOLD 270.

  • Vegetables and sauces chilled

A double-door refrigerated counter in the AIR 220, three doors in the BOLD 270, from 0 to +5 °C, within reach of the wok.

  • Optional gas bottle box

Available on every model; a qualified professional in your country installs and inspects the gas.

  • Three drawers and a double sink

Bowls, chopsticks and packaging stay tidy, with the double sink close at hand.

For Thai, Chinese or Vietnamese food: the Chef+.

Our hot-food layout, and the only one with an extractor hood: a lowered cooking area for your wok burners, a refrigerated counter and a gas bottle box as an option.

Wok or sushi: two different trailers.

  • Hot food, in the wok

Stir-fries, noodles, fried rice: cooking gives off heat, steam and grease, so you need the Chef+ and its hood.

  • Cold food, no cooking

Sushi, maki and poke bowls need no hood: the Essentiel and its large worktops do the job.

Allergens in Asian cooking.

Several of the 14 allergens on the EU list turn up again and again in Asian recipes.

  • Soya

Soy sauce, tofu, miso: soya is one of the 14 allergens on the EU list.

  • Sesame and peanuts

Sesame oil or seeds, crushed peanuts: two allergens to declare.

  • Fish and crustaceans

Fish sauce, prawns: fish and crustaceans are two separate allergens.

  • Molluscs

Oyster sauce contains them, so declare them like the others.

In the European Union

The rules that apply to you.

These EU rules apply in every member state. Each one links to its official source, checked on 6 October 2026. Your country adds its own rules on top, so check them with your local food safety authority before you start trading.

  • Hygiene in the trailer

EU hygiene law requires mobile sales vehicles to have facilities for washing and drying hands hygienically, food-contact surfaces that are easy to clean and disinfect, and an adequate supply of hot and/or cold drinking water. Our trailers come with a double sink as standard, and a hand-wash basin with hot water as an option.

  • Allergens

If you sell food unpacked, you must tell customers which of the 14 allergens listed in EU law are in your food and drinks: often soya, sesame, peanuts, fish, crustaceans and molluscs (in oyster sauce), and wheat, a cereal containing gluten, in most soy sauces. Each country decides how you provide this information.

  • Registration

Before you start trading, you must notify the competent authority in your country so that it can register your food business. Each country has its own procedure: ask your local food safety authority.

  • Gas

Under EU rules, gas appliances carry the CE marking. How the gas is installed in the trailer, how it is checked and who may work on it are up to each country. We supply a gas bottle box as an option on every model; a qualified professional in your country installs and inspects the gas.

Why a trailer?

  • Tow it on a car licence

The AIR 220 has a gross weight of 750 kg, so you can tow it on a standard category B car licence, as long as your car is rated to tow that weight.

  • One point of contact

The Food Truck Store team answers your questions, by video call if you like, and prepares your quote.

  • Ready to serve

It comes with a fibreglass shell, stainless steel, a double sink, a fuse box and a European Certificate of Conformity. You get a trailer that is ready to work, not an empty shell.
