Food business

Before you start, notify the Environmental Health Service of the Health Service Executive (HSE), at the local office where the trailer is usually parked (if you are based outside Ireland, where you mainly trade). Gas

We supply the gas bottle box as an option, on every model; the gas installation and its inspection are carried out by a qualified professional in your country, not by Food Truck Store. Electrical sockets

Food business

Food business

Gas

Every trailer owned by a Luxembourg resident or company is registered with the SNCA, with its own rear plate, whatever its weight. For a trailer bought abroad, customs first issue the 705 vignette needed for registration.Sources: SNCACustoms

For a new trailer bought in the EU, the SNCA asks in particular for the European Certificate of Conformity, the 705 vignette, the invoice, the insurance and a photo of the manufacturer’s plate.Source: SNCA

Registration

With the European Certificate of Conformity, no EU country may prohibit or restrict the registration of a trailer that conforms. The documents, plates and weight thresholds are set by each country: ask your registration authority.Source: Regulation (EU) 2018/858, art. 6(5) and 48(1)

Food business

Your food business must be registered with the competent authority of your country. A mobile sales vehicle must meet the EU hygiene rules for mobile premises: hand washing, surfaces easy to clean, drinking water, waste, temperature control.Source: Regulation (EC) 852/2004, art. 6 and annex II
