Concept · BBQ and grill

A BBQ food truck made for the grill.

The grill heats up under the hood, the meat stays chilled right beside it and the buns are within reach: every order goes straight from the grill to the serving hatch.

Food truck griddle: burger patties cooking in the trailer

Fitted out for the grill.

  • The grill under the hood

Your grill or griddle sits on the lowered cooking area, directly under the extraction: 126 × 60 cm in the AIR 220, 180 × 60 cm in the BOLD 270.

  • Smoke drawn out

The hood covers the whole cooking area, 130 cm in the AIR 220 and 180 cm in the BOLD 270, with removable stainless steel filters and an outlet through the roof.

  • Meat kept chilled

A double-door refrigerated counter in the AIR 220, three doors in the BOLD 270, from 0 to +5 °C: marinades, sausages and sauces stay within arm’s reach.

  • Three drawers and a double sink

Buns, tongs and packaging stay tidy, and the double sink is a step away from the grill.

The barbecue trailer you need: the Chef+.

Our hot-food layout, and the only one with an extractor hood: a lowered cooking area for your grill, a refrigerated counter right next to it and a gas bottle box as an option.

Gas or electric grill?

  • A gas grill

Full power straight away, with no socket needed. We supply the gas bottle box as an option, and a qualified professional in your country installs and inspects the gas.

  • An electric grill

No gas bottles, but your pitch has to supply plenty of power. The Chef+ runs on 230 V single phase as standard; for 400 V, ask us.

Where to set up your BBQ trailer.

  • Festivals and events

Festivals, local fairs, company parties: agree your pitch and the fee with the organiser.

  • Markets

A regular pitch or a single day, through the market manager.

  • Streets and squares

Trading on public land needs permission from the local authority.

  • Private land

A company or retail car park: get the written agreement of the owner or manager.

In the European Union

The rules that apply to you.

These EU rules apply in every member state. Each one links to its official source, checked on 6 October 2026. Your country adds its own rules on top, so check them with your local food safety authority before you start trading.

  • Hygiene in the trailer

EU hygiene law requires mobile sales vehicles to have facilities for washing and drying hands hygienically, food-contact surfaces that are easy to clean and disinfect, and an adequate supply of hot and/or cold drinking water. Our trailers come with a double sink as standard, and a hand-wash basin with hot water as an option.

  • Allergens

If you sell food unpacked, you must tell customers which of the 14 allergens listed in EU law are in your food and drinks: often mustard and celery in marinades, sauces and sausages, and cereals containing gluten in the buns. Each country decides how you provide this information.

  • Registration

Before you start trading, you must notify the competent authority in your country so that it can register your food business. Each country has its own procedure: ask your local food safety authority.

  • Gas

Under EU rules, gas appliances carry the CE marking. How the gas is installed in the trailer, how it is checked and who may work on it are up to each country. We supply a gas bottle box as an option on every model; a qualified professional in your country installs and inspects the gas.

Why a trailer?

  • Tow it on a car licence

The AIR 220 has a gross weight of 750 kg, so you can tow it on a standard category B car licence, as long as your car is rated to tow that weight.

  • One point of contact

The Food Truck Store team answers your questions, by video call if you like, and prepares your quote.

  • Ready to serve

It comes with a fibreglass shell, stainless steel, a double sink, a fuse box and a European Certificate of Conformity. You get a trailer that is ready to work, not an empty shell.
