Concept · Ice cream

The trailer for your ice cream food truck.

Seven flavours facing the customer, the scoop waiting in its rinser, a counter at the right height: the Frost is designed around its display.

Ice cream trailer: the beige Frost “Bar à glace” in service

Everything on board.

  • A 7-tub display

Facing the customer, set into the counter: people choose with their eyes.

  • A scoop rinser

With its water supply, right next to the display.

  • A large worktop

Cones, tubs, toppings: room behind you, with a double sink.

  • Plugged into 230 V

Single phase as standard; for 400 V, ask us. For Ireland, Irish standard sockets on request.

The layout you need: the Frost.

The ice cream display is set into the counter, on the serving side. Everything else is arranged around it.

In the European Union

What applies to your concept.

EU rules that apply to your concept in every member state, each with its official source, checked on 6 October 2026. Your country adds its own: check them with your local food safety authority before you start.

  • Hygiene on board

For mobile sales vehicles, EU hygiene law asks for facilities to wash and dry hands hygienically, food-contact surfaces that are easy to clean and disinfect, and enough hot and/or cold drinking water. At Food Truck Store: double sink as standard, hand-wash basin with hot water as an option.

  • Allergens

For food sold unpacked, you must tell customers which of the 14 listed allergens your food and drinks contain: usually milk, eggs, nuts and peanuts in toppings, and cereals containing gluten in cones and biscuits. Your country sets how you give this information.

  • Registration

Before you start trading, you notify the competent authority of your country, which registers your food business. How and where is set by each country: ask your local food safety authority.

Why a trailer.

  • A car licence is enough

The AIR 220 format has a gross weight of 750 kg: you tow it behind your car on a category B licence, as long as your car is rated to tow it.

  • One point of contact

Food Truck Store, or our distributor for your country, answers your questions, by video call too, and prepares your quote.

  • Ready to serve

Fibreglass shell, stainless steel, double sink, fuse box, European Certificate of Conformity: you get a working tool, not an empty shell.
